This is probably the first thing you will need to download if you are new to Direct Connect and are planning on connecting to a hub.
A client is used to connect to a hub so that you can communicate with other people who are also connected to that hub, When connected to a hub you can also use your client to download/upload files or chat with other people. Please note that some hubs have rules about what clients it will allow to connect to their hub.
Adding a public hublist to your client is simple depending on which client you have installed. For DC++ as an example simple click on View in the top toolbar then Public Hubs, A new window will open. Click on the Configure button and a popup box will appear, In the Add field paste your Public hublist URL. Public Hublist URL's can be found by visiting one of the public hublists from our Hublist page
If you find any problems with your client you can ask on our forum, Someone might be able to assist you. Alternatively you can visit the site where you downloaded the client from. Please submit bug reports to the developer of your client and not to us.
Are you a Client developer? Want your client listed here? We need to know the client name, download link, website, screenshot page (if one exists), protocol, also any other useful info like if it is segment downloads. Please email the admin
