| Welcome to the Direct Connect Global Banlist. We have created seperate block lists which can be used using applications such as Peerguardian or Protowall which are easy to install and run. These blocklists can be used by anyone to stop well known fakers, pedophiles, hackers, anti p2p agencies from connecting to you or your hub and will also block you from connecting to them. We have a dedicated team of individuals working around the clock adding and removing IPs to & from the block lists keeping it up to date on a regular basis. As this project is still new the IPs listed will be few but we are sure the lists will grow in no time. On our forum you will find plenty of help & support if needed or read the FAQ so feel free to browse or ask questions. Each IP added to our lists are carefully checked so that the right people are blocked and for the right reasons. Below you will find all the information needed to download the applications and install our lists. | ||

Install The Application  First you will need to install and run Peerguardian and then delete any lists you wish not to use then click on List Manager. You will need to unblock this application in any firewall you have running so that it has access to the internet so click Unblock if prompted. Install Anti Agencies List At the bottom click on Add, In the Description type in Agencies then tick Add URL then enter in the field Install Fake User List At the bottom click on Add, In the Description type in Fake-Users then tick Add URL then enter in the field http://list.iblocklist.com/?list=dcha_fakerInstall Hackers List At the bottom click on Add, In the Description type in Hackers then tick Add URL then enter in the field http://list.iblocklist.com/?list=dcha_hackerInstall Pedophile List At the bottom click on Add, In the Description type in Pedophiles then tick Add URL then enter in the field http://list.iblocklist.com/?list=dcha_pedophilesInstall Spammer List At the bottom click on Add, In the Description type in Spammer then tick Add URL then enter in the field http://list.iblocklist.com/?list=dcha_spammer Close the window, Your lists should auto update. For more blocklists you will find a nice list of them at I-Blocklist If you do not want users in your hub who use proxy or if you dont want users who use proxy to connect to you then you can download the proxy block list from I-Blocklist. To add this list to your blocking client ie Peerguardian then at the bottom click on Add, Tick Add URL then enter in the field http://list.iblocklist.com/?list=tor Close the window, Your lists should auto update. You can set it to update as often as you like but weekly would be best. Blocking http can be disabled unless you are running a website or dont wish to access websites that may also be hosted by one of the blocked IPs. |
